Times of Malta 24/04/2014: Heritage Malta
will be opening all its museums and sites for free next Thursday as
part of the 10 anniversary celebrations of Malta’s accession to the EU.
Practically all Heritage Malta sites will be free of charge with the
exception of the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum, Ta’ Hagrat and Skorba Temples,
due to restrictions and sensitivity of the sites.
The sites which will be open are St Paul’s Catacombs, the Domvs
Romana in Rabat, the National Museum of Natural History in Mdina, the
National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum of Archaeology, the
National War Museum, the Palace Armoury and State Rooms in Valletta, the
Malta Maritime Museum and Inquisitor’s Palace in Vittoriosa, Għar Dalam
Cave in Birżebbuġa, Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra Temples in Qrendi and Tarxien
Temples in Malta and the Museum of Archaeology, the Folklore Museum,
