MaltaIndependent 22/04/2014: The low-cost carrier has said that it will be expanding its operations in Poland this summer by adding a fifth A320 at Gdansk.
The aircraft will support a new twice-weekly service between Gdansk and Malta set to commence on June 20.
Wizz Air is also planning to increase frequencies on existing routes
from Gdansk to London, Stockholm, Skavsta, Oslo, Torp, Bergen, Alesund
and Cologne from June 19.
The airline’s CEO, Jozsef Varadi, commented: “We are thrilled about
continuing our growth in the country and offering very low fares and
excellent services to our ever expanding customer base of Polish
passengers and their visitors.
“Our capacity increase will create a number of new jobs at Wizz Air as
well as in associated services and industries in the Pomeranian region.” ...read on.
